PBC 229 expresses deep love specifically for Siberia. Regionalist works using this PBC express their love in a range of tonalities—from readiness to die for one’s Siberian fatherland, to something like a love song for Siberian landscapes and physical geography (W504), to nostalgia and a desire to go to one’s Siberian home (W377). Though not always, this PBC is used mainly to pre-1917 works.
