PBC0055: resolve to fight
PBC 55 urges Red Army soldiers’ resolve to press onward in the battle for Russia against difficult odds. Typically this PBC appears in Bolshevik poetry that is also propaganda for soldiers at various fronts (W97, W98, W99) in the hotly contested region of the Volga River in the most doubtful year of the civil war, 1919. In one instance, Volga stevedores are called to throw off their chains (W117).
