PBC0053: grief at loss of home
Works using PBC53 convey the sorrowful tone of a nationalist forced to leave home and go into exile. Because after October 1919 the ensemble of White Armies started to fall apart, works using this PBC portray a home place from which the speaker feels estranged. The speaking voice either imagines leaving home, or is already on the way and is miserable and nostalgic. This PBC is about leaving a place that used to be home and wandering without a clear future goal.
