PBC0226: rejection of colonialism

PBC 226 is among the only PBCs to address the interaction between ethnic Russians and other ethnic groups in the Siberian region. This PBC expresses a regionalist rejection of colonizing and exploiting nomadic peoples of southern Siberia. The mountainous landscape itself “damns” Russian merchants (W415).
