PBC0128: creative empowerment

PBC 128 expresses Bolshevik Proletkult writers’ feeling of collective empowerment to create a borderless global society for the proletariat. The Proletkult writers view themselves as “creators of a free world” (W404). The aim for a truly international society, where “trains made by workers’ muscles run to Moscow, Berlin, Paris, Chicago and other cities” (W324) is realized by the imagined power of a “world collective of calloused hands” (W441). Workers’ strength and power is in their solidarity: the iron “Messiah” “calls for the eternal brotherhood of nations, erases lines and borders” (W71).
