PBC0126: joy at victory

PBC 126 connects pro-revolutionary jubilation and joy at the radical transformation of the world on a biblical scale. Amid jubilant calls to “Fly, banners, over Moscow!” one instance of the PBC proclaims that: “We rose from the dead” (W383). Russia is the model for global transformation: the world’s “Coming Gospel” is rising from the factories (W258). And elsewhere Russia is pictured as the “Fiery Furnace! The source of Flaming Natural Elements… And we can set the whole world on fire with the flame of Tormented Russia!” (W252). In still other examples, this PBC depicts the old world order as a “dying beast” (W81) and the new world as “your east coming into calf” (W192).
