PBC0265: reverence for Rus

PBC 265 expresses a nationalist reverence and exaltation of Moscow as the supreme and holy Russian city (W451), through its seven hills also parallel to the eternal city, Rome. Moscow is filled with churches, with “cupolas all around” (W448), and is itself compared to a famous icon of Jesus, “not made by human hands” (W449). PBC 265 has a more religious and reverential timbre than PBC 264.
