PBC0216: hope for peace

PBC 216 conveys a strong personal hope that the European war will come to a good end soon. So far, the one instance imagines “peace” in terms of respect for the foreigner. A whole Europe is imagined in geographical terms as the rivers that define the continent—the Volga and the Rhine, now filled with bright water (W329).
