PBC0042: confidence in victory

PBC 42 conveys confidence in the Bolshevik victory over the White Armies on the Volga front. Here the Bolshevik propagandist Dem’ian Bednyi is the main purveyor of this PBC. Bednyi praises himself for the “victorious ring of my verses” (W97). In another example a Volga village has become a liminal battle zone where the Bolsheviks are confident of driving out the Whites hiding in the countryside (W99).
