PBC0232: anxiety at nature

PBC 232 expresses regionalists’ anxiety about the gloomier or more violent and threatening areas of Siberia, particularly, though not only, the southern tier near the Altai Mountains. Moods in this PBC range from humorous to irritated. For example, the Baraba River area in southern Siberia is seen as coming into being when the Creator was “tired” (W273), and the Altai Mountains are called a “majestic tsar with a childish soul” (W506).
