PBC0198: solidarity with Cossacks

PBC 198 connects southern Russian Cossack homelands with the Bolshevik desire to forge a partnership with those Cossack communities. The prime author in this regard is Demian Bednyi, the Bolshevik propagandist and master of ideological doggerel. This PBC appeals to Cossacks and their love of home in order to convert them to Bolshevism. Several instances reach out to Cossacks especially in the Don (W102) and the Kuban regions (W101) where there was bitter fighting during the Civil War. One instance even claims to be an oath of loyalty of Don Cossack units to the new Soviet government (W105).
