PBC 40 conveys Bolshevik bombastic belligerence at the regathering of Russian lands, particularly Siberia and the Far East. Militaristic imagery and zealous descriptions of the moving war front are ubiquitous, for example, “Siberia is the sepulchre of the enemy” (W139).
