PBC0123: arrogant confidence

PBC 123 conveys Bolshevik arrogance in describing their new domain on the Promethean scale of the entire universe. In this view, even the planets and the cosmos bend to Bolsheviks’ will (W121). As much is said in another example: “The flight of the planets, the existence of great powers, yield to our wills” (W315). Elsewhere the Earth is recognized as the center of power in the Universe: “the citizens of the Red Earth send greetings to everyone,” while the Sun and planets hasten “to make way for the Earth” (W256).
