PBC0121: joy at victory

PBC 121 expresses the Bolsheviks’ jubilation upon imagining new life for the universe constructed of Soviet ideals: “we will smash the wood shavings of the universe/ Do you see, it’s already afire” (W120). Elsewhere, in honor of this victory other planetary bodies will throw a parade, to celebrate that “Listenn all you children of the Cosmos:/ Will Earth will be named holy/ Because on this tiny planet/ Is the refuge of a formidable miracle” (W256).
